In this current project for a customer in the Ruhr area, the PLAN company developed, at the customer's request, a device that minimizes the typical "jerk" when pulling on the trailer.
By means of the damper block integrated in the drawbar, the otherwise usual rigid power transmission from the towing vehicle to the trailer is cushioned by an elastic element. This makes the starting movement of the trailer much smoother, which ultimately has a positive effect on the load.
